Nicole AKA Nic, started training with me in April 2005, right when GST first opened. She came to me looking to get her body back in shape after the birth of their son, Dominic. Who I might add, is such a cutie pie! Nic trained with me 3x a week and did additional cardio on her own time as well. Her workouts consisted of weight training combined with cardio. Her strength improved immensely and she achieved her pre-pregnancy body. Her hard work and determination paid off! Nic has had previous problems with her knees, which we have alleviated, and she now can jog/run again without pain. She and I have a great relationship as trainer/client, as well as friends. I can push her to an extreme, and when she says enough is enough, I know she’s being honest and not wimping out on me! There is a great deal of respect there. Nic, I’m so proud of you and all that you have accomplished! You should be smiling from ear to ear :)!
Now that she got back her bod, she’s expecting again in March..Congrats! She is still training with me 3x a week or more. We have varied her workouts, not training to failure. She continues to do her cardio 5x a week, monitoring her heart rate very closely. She is working with Todd Swinney, my nutritionist, and doing great! At 7 mos pregnant, she had only gained 16lb, all of which was baby weight, lean mass. Absolutlely no fat! At that point in her first pregnancy, she had gained 26lbs…10 lbs more then now, and we know that it was not all baby weight. She is on track for gaining only 25lbs for her second pregnancy, which will come off with ease. Keep up the great work NIC!!! I look forward to meeting the newest addition to the family. I can’t wait to get you back on your favorite machine….the Superseated Leg Press/Hack Squat. How many reps was that???? Give me 5 more please! Go Nic!!!
